Asked the the room to be freshly cleaned because there was a layer of dust on everything, but it didn't happen. Asked to change rooms to a cleaner room but that didn't happen. Stains on the bathroom ceiling. Just overall not clean feeling. Asked for extra towels and a blanket that didn't happen, had to ask again. Furnace is very loud, bring ear plugs. Bathroom had dripping yellow that showed it was smoked in for a long time previously. It smelled like stale cigarette smoke and it got worse after the shower was used. Steam from the shower set off the smoke detector because the bathroom fan didn’t work. There were sketchy people coming in and out and a guy sitting outside on a lawn chair drinking alcohol. Hotel has gone very downhill from the last time I stayed there 15yrs ago. Would rate this a zero if they let me! The hottub was great. I was surprised the "indoor" pool was supported by outside walls the were partially open. The room was cold, so too cold to use the pool. The wall between guest rooms was thin and I could hear my neighbors music, luckily not to late. At night could barely see the words on books that we were reading Not the fault of the staff, but could hear noises from the other rooms very clearly. Must not be soundproofed very well.
