Lovely place but the walls and doors are too thin so you can clearly hear the guests in the neighboring room. That was the biggest issue every night and a serious problem for peace, quiet and rest. Other than that it is a very nice place with friendly staff and good location.

This Inn is absolutely stunning. The rooms are so cozy, and the design is very beachy/luxurious. The staff members are so kind and extremely helpful. I also recommend The Artist's Loft. It is the most perfect cottage for a girl's trip, a celebratory weekend trip, or a well needed vacation. All design and amenity details are beautiful and intentional. From the beautiful floors to the luxurious bathroom details to the comfiest loft, it is truly the most perfect cottage. Not to mention, it is in super close walking distance to the town! I would live in the loft every day if I could!

We absolutely loved our stay here and we would highly recommend it to anyone coming to Nantucket! David, the proprietor was GREAT! He went out of his way to be helpful. The location is very convenient to all the shops and restaurants. Definitely a great place to stay!!

Easy key pickup via envelope. Great breakfast and coffee anytime. Imagine a TV might be a nice touch? But iPad streaming easy peasy. Finally, left my hanging back and proprietor so helpful in arranging its return. GREAT stay!

Former sea captains house in historic Nantucket has beautiful rooms, is very clean and the staff and current owner are very accomodating. Rooms are spacious, bed is comfortable and shower has plenty of pressure and hot water. Would highly recommend a stay here.

I’m glad I found the Martin. Great location, easily walkable to the center of town and Brant Point. David, the innkeeper, was really helpful & good with communications. He bakes fresh breakfast goodies and sometimes, cookies for afternoons. He seemed to really care about what he does. The refresh of the Martin is great (fresh coastal) - even though my room was tiny and on the top floor (3) - I described it as a warren - it was fine for me. You have to be able to do steps for that one. Kudos to the housekeeper because she gets that room CLEAN. That is so important. Thank you. The one thing I found a bit unpleasant was that at times the small bins for garbage near the coffee station on the main floor overflowed..def more than once I saw this. And breakfast dishes, placed in plastic bins in the front gathering room, sometimes stayed there a touch too long, in my opinion. But overall, it was really good. Traveling solo, I felt right at home. I would stay again.

Chambre spacieuse et bien décorée. Très bon accueil, David a été très agréable et a bien répondu à nos besoins, ce fut très apprécié. Le déjeuner, très bon dans une salle à manger bien aménagée et confortable. Nous serons certainement de retour au Martin House lors de notre prochaine visite à Nantucket, excellent rapport qualité/prix.
