It is a short walk from the passenger ferry and easy to find. We arrived earlier than check in time and was greeted by one of the delightful managers who agreed to put our luggage in our room when ready :) Guests staying at the inn may find the stairs inside and out a challenge but location is the key. Our room was small, quaint but functional with a good use of space. A continental breakfast (which is quite yummy) is provided but there are no tables, only chairs/sofas downstairs and upstairs. The room was comfortable and clean. The baked goods and fresh fruit in the morning were great. The host Madelon was super nice and helpful. Our room was quite small with a tiny bathroom & tiny shower, but all in all quaint & comfy. The hard part were the stairs with the luggage. Decided to walk to inn, which was a mild challenge with roll-ons in tow. But worth it. Great facility. Right next to open, undeveloped area and beaches. We found a more interesting back street road into town. Facility was wonderful. Breakfast truly unbelievable. They helped with lunch/dinner reservations, scooter rental, and the best ways to navigate Nantucket's interesting one-way streets in town. Our room was clean and attractively decorated. We did not spend much time in our room as there is much to see and do in the town and environs. My wife and I have visited Nantucket 4-5 times over the past 45+ years.
