"We stayed for one night in this beautiful historic hotel. The room was a good size, super clean & was tastefully furnished. The options for breakfast were varied with food being cooked to order, & everything was provided that you could possibly need. The breakfast waiting staff were very pleasant & helpful & it was the same for staff throughout the whole hotel. We will be staying again soon!"
"I had the most wonderful room in the old part of the building. Warm and spacious, comfy bed, lovely seating and dressing area, clean bathroom with a lovely shower! I didn't have breakfast so I can't comment on that. Dinner in the restaurant was delicious. Quick and easy walk over the lovely river to the RSC and Stratford. Parking on site is easy but limited, but there is plenty of parking nearby.
The best thing was the friendliness and helpfulness of every member of staff that we spoke to. From welcome to departure all the staff couldn't do enough to help! Wonderful place!"
"Very spacious, clean room, but very little storage space for a couple. Everywhere was very bright, clean and spacious. The only problem with the breakfast was that the chairs were far too low for the tables. A wonderful location, ideal for exploring Stratford. "
"Loved our stay at The Arden. Dead opposite the RSC and just a couple of minutes from The Other Place where we went to ser MacBeth. Room was huge (superior room), great air con, a great and powerful shower and with nice tea, coffee and snacks.
Only one poor thing was the breakfast. We paid 20 pounds each for a full english. My scrambled egg was sat in a pool of uncooked egg and the sausage was pretty tasteless. Recommend walking down the road to visit plenty of good cafes serving breakfast for half the price."
"Smooth and efficient service, fast check in and friendly receptionist. Room was lovely, a good size, well maintained, and clean. Ate in dinner & breakfast at the hotel, staff attentive and helpful- food to a good standard"
