“Resturant is terrible”

“Achtung, wir konnten unser Elektroauto laden, allerdings wurden uns am Ende 0,75£ / kw/h verrechnet! Das ist natürlich viel zu viel für eine Wallbox. Zugegebenermaßen haben wir im Vorfeld nicht nach dem Preis gefragt, wir haben mit so einem Wucher aber auch einfach nicht gerechnet. Daher ein Stern Abzug. Ansonsten eine gemütliche, saubere Unterkunft. Das Zimmer war ruhig in Richtung Garten. Das Frühstück war gut. Das Stadtzentrum ist sehr gut fußläufig erreichbar.”

“The property was spotless and updated. The bed was very comfortable and the AC was ice cold on a very hot day. We had dinner at the restaurant and enjoyed the meal. Would highly recommend.”

“Always a pleasant stay at the Arden and we got our room request. Very pleasant staff and a good stay, even in a heat wave! Breakfast is perfect and plenty of options b”

“Loverly riverside terrace with plenty of seating areas. Breakfast is wide ranging but can be a bit of hard work finding all the choices and very busy on weekends. Club Lounge fills up quickly when complimentary drinks and snacks appear. Very effective air con in rooms. But in comparison to other local hotels, we would always stay here.”

“The hotel was ok, a small section was a nice historical building with character but large bits are new and dated and not in a good way. The rooms where very hot and not air conditioned, it was cooler going outside in the 30+ def then it was in the room. By biggest annoyance was the parking l, they have lots of it but it’s an extra £7 a night per vehicle, not per space. Now I know that seems an odd thing to say, but I stayed the with my father and we both traveled up by motorcycle. So we only……

“The hotel was ok, no more or no less than that. The pictures on the website were all of the newer bit of the hotel by the looks of it. Our room even said “old” on the invoice I signed. Bed ok, room had good furniture but too much of it so barely room to move. Window to a fire exit that kept banging in the wind. Shower screen might as well have been wire mesh as water leaked everywhere and flooded the bathroom which looked to have been happening for a while looking at the water staining / state……

“The girl behind the bar/receptionist was lovely and even gave us her own personal fan, but the room was at best 1 star, the toilet had human waste and toilet paper in it upon arrival, And what looked like human waste in the wall and floor, Photos attached, The shower was dirty, and the rooms window opened up onto a disco bar that was open to 2.30am, this review is based on the room only, The room was in an awful state and not worth the money all, I can’t give 0 stars so I had to settle with……

“The property is perfect for staying. Large space compare to the price, Worm inside, Wide kitchen, everything is good. But otherwise WiFi signal is kind of weak so it's small minus point. Since they are not stated "WiFi" on the ammenities, may be most of customers expect strong WiFi during their stays.”
