“Sehr angenehme Unterkunft, Personal hilfsbereit. Zimmer sehr sauber , hygenebereich super sauber. Super Frühstück, einzige Anmerkung ab einer gewissen Uhrzeit, sehr voll. Aber Frühstück an sich findet man alles was das Herz begehrt .. hundefreundlich , dürfen mit in den Frühstücksraum. Uns hat es super gefallen, sodass wir für nächstes Jahr direkt wieder reserviert haben .”

“Ein altes Hotel welches die besten Jahre leider hinter sich hat. Der Name und auch die Historie lässt gutes vermuten, aber leider wie man enttäuscht. Die Sauberkeit ist an vielen Stellen gravierend schlecht. Besonders das Moos am Überlaufbecken lässt auf eine minderwertige Reinigung schließen. Das Frühstück war sehr häufig vergriffen, der Frühstücksraum hat auch länger kein Wischer oder professionellen Teppichreiniger mehr gesehen. Die zwei Personen vom Personal waren mit den ca. 40-50 Gästen……

“Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Hotel und die Lage eine ideale Ausgangsbasis für die täglichen Unternehmungen und Ausflüge an die Mosel oder darüber hinaus”

“Hotel was 1960s. No air conditioning, bad lumpy pillows, LOUD road noise, few outlets, tiny shower, limited counter space, small closet w 4 hangers, bed covers were not comfy. Breakfast was good but an additional 15 Euros per person. Location about 1/3 mile outside of town. Nice Mosel views but impossible to sleep and bathroom was tiny, shower was too small, towels were thin... bad experience!!”

“The hotel is 15mins walk from train station but at the center of the altstadt. It has a small staircase at the front door, but it has elevator inside so very convenient overall. Basically you can go everywhere you need within 5-15mins walk. It actually has a sauna you can use once you reserve with the hotel staff. German style breakfast was nice. View from the window is 100% excellent if you are located on the high floors. No air-con though only fans in the room in summer.”

“The staff are extremely friendly and the restaurant at the property is really good. As a solo traveller, the room was perfect size. My only complaint is that the property is pretty old and you can easily hear people walking in the hallway, talking, people around you turning on hairdryers, etc. so be aware if you are sensitive to noise. The stay was great otherwise and I cannot speak highly enough of the staff!”

“I instantly felt very comfortable in our room. It was clean and well maintained with plenty of room to move around. The bar and restaurant areas were pleasantly decorated, and the staff were friendly and helpful at all times. The breakfast was of the highest quality, the best that I have ever had in a hotel. Definitely try the fried eggs and the very fresh tasting nuts and dried fruit with the muesli.”
