The hotel and staff are absolutely brilliant and extremely knowledgeable and hospitable. The food is exquisite and it’s possibly one of the finest cheese boards we have ever had. Everything was spotlessly clean, we had a big room for 3 adults with a bathroom and great shower - plenty of hot water. The bedroom was spacious with large windows so the room was light and airy, even though we stayed during a mini-heatwave! The house is beautiful, we sat in the comfortable lounge reading our books and also went for a walk on the disused railway opposite...

"This establishment was probably the worst stay I Have ever had. I booked and paid for a room with en suite facilities abd tea and coffee making facilities. My room had neither. I was told point blanc £10 extra for that. I could not take my small diabetic dog in. £10 extra for that The hotel was surrounded by indusyrial sized smelly skips. They were free no extra charge for looking at and smelling those. Expedia.com. No Thanks ever again "
