Magnífico apartamento en el último piso en una de las calles más bonitas de Niza, la hermosa calle arbolada Alphonse Karr. Esta propiedad en el sexto piso de un edificio Art Deco (con ascensor) está perfectamente ubicada en el corazón de la Carre d'Or. Con un doble aspecto, el apartamento tiene una perspectiva abierta hacia el este y el sur, lo que garantiza el sol desde el amanecer sobre el monte Borón hasta el final de la tarde. Un balcón se extiende a lo largo del apartamento y es accesible desde todas las habitaciones a través de 4 puertas francesas. Hay hermosas vistas sobre los tejados de Niza hasta las colinas y montañas más allá, y hasta la elegante calle bordeada de boutiques a continuación: el lugar perfecto para tomar café y cruasanes por la mañana o una copa de vino rosado local por la tarde. La propiedad fue completamente renovada (2011) para incluir una cocina italiana equipada, baño de lujo, pisos de parquet y pisos italianos. The space was good. Location also good. There was an issue with the shower draining and that was not so good. Some days it would drain fine but others it would flood the bathroom. The property manager was responsive in our concerns about it but it did not get resolved in our stay due to the inconsistency of it. Overall the place was good and the patio was great for morning coffee and evening wine.

The apartment was close to the water and lots of restaurants in Nice. It was very clean and the balcony was a nice spot to hangout.

Die Wohnung liegt sehr zentral in der Nähe von der Fußgängerzone mit vielen Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Der Bahnhof ist in ca. 12 Minuten zu erreichen, die nächste Straßenbahnhaltestelle in 5 Minuten. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet mit einem Kombi-Backofen, Herd mit 2 Induktionsfeldern, kleiner Spülmaschine und Waschmaschine. Es gibt einen Ordner mit Anleitungen zu allen technischen Gerären sowie Informationen zu Nizza. Das Bad ist groß mit viel Ablagefläche. Die Wohnungsübergabe erfolgte persönlich, der Kontakt hat gut funktioniert. Der Balkon geht zwar um die ganze Wohnung herum, ist aber sehr schmal wie oft in französischen Häusern. Er wirkte etwas ungepflegt. Insgesamt ist die Wohnung schön hell (Anfang Januar Sonne bis ca. 15 00 Uhr). Für kältere Tage gibt es einen kleinen Heizlüfter zusätzlich zur Klimaanlage. Das Haus hat einen hohen Sicherheitsstandard. Wir können die Wohnung empfehlen.

Beautiful rental in a great location

This was a great place to stay for my week long trip to Nice. It was a 10 minute walk from the train station and 5-10 minute walk from the waterfront, so the location was perfect for both exploring Nice and doing day trips nearby. So many nearby shops, restaurants, and things to do, all walkable. The apartment had everything you could need - full kitchen, dining area, living room, bedroom. The balcony was lovely and the area nearby was safe and pretty quiet at night. The host was very friendly and helpful, and very responsive to messages. Highly recommend this rental and would love to come back some day.

Carnaval 2025

This was our second time staying in this apartment for Carnaval. The location is perfect for the Carnaval events as well as for exploring Nice and the surrounding area. The building is clean and quiet and the apartment is well equipped. Mehran was very accommodating and attentive. My friend and I plan on making this our annual trip together, and certainly will continue to stay here.

Great Place

We were so happy with everything about the apartment and location. Love the windows on two 2 sides, on the top floor, view of rooftops and sunny streets below. Centrally located. So attractive everywhere.

Je passe toutes mes vacances d'été à Nice , la première fois au carré d'or , très bon emplacement, l'appartement très fonctionnel,rien ne manquait , Mr Hamilton très accueillant et disponible en plus d'être sympathique. Je recommande cette location.

Great Location

Quiet apartment on top floor. Nice view, and really close to Old town,Train Station, Patisserie (Right across the street), supermarket(1/2 block away). Mehran, checked us in early, and did a walk thru. He even installed a portable A/C. Great spot!

Une belle vacance en Nice

This is a lovely snug apartment in the Carre d’Or in Nice. Everything you need from pots and pans to comfy beds and a breakfast balcony! The location is superb being a short walk to Place Massena, the Promenade, Vielle Ville and train station. The neighbourhood is full of lovely shops as well as a sinfully good patisserie just across the street. Mehran was always available and responded quickly to any text. Highly recommend and we will be back!

Perfect neighborhood!

Wow! This apartment had it all! It was in the best location (1 block from a subway, 5 blocks from the regional train, 2 blocks from a HUGE restaurant strip). It also had a great balcony with views of the city and surrounding hills. The beach was a 10 minute walk away. My host contacted me via whatsapp, so its good if you have that app. I would definitely stay here again!

Côte d’Azur delight

What a wonderful apartment from which to explore Nice and other beautiful places along the Côte d’Azur. Being so central meant we only needed the excellent public transport for our coastal outings. We enjoyed walking through the elegant and lively streets, the sea, sun and lots of gastronomic delights. Great galleries, churches and shops for the occasional rainy intervals. Nice has lots of good cafés to enjoy people watching too. The apartment was very comfortable and we’d been left lots of ideas to help us plan our days and dinners. Many thanks.

Lovely, Small Nice Apartment

Excellent location, very close to old town and Promenade ‘de Anglaise. I walked everywhere. The aforementioned problem with the key an the elevator did not exist. The surround balcony was a definite plus. The property manager M. Hamilton went above and beyond. I would definitely rent this property again.

Super klasse für eine Städtereise

Das Haus befindet sich im Herzen Nizzas, nur ein paar Schritte von Place Massena, Promenade des Anglais, Avenue Jean Médecin etc. Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber, alles, was man braucht, ist vorhanden. Die Aussicht vom Balkon ist hervorragend. Die Schlüsselübergabe war total unkompliziert. Mehram ist super nett und aufmerksam. Die Kommunikation mit ihm lief problemlos. Was braucht mehr? Wir kommen bestimmt wieder! Merci beaucoup et au revoir!

Place is tired

The couch is uncomfortable. The floor is lifting by the windows where rain damage has caused the wood to lift. The place needs a deep and thorough cleaning. The washer dryer combo never really dries anything, especially the bath towels. The stove only has one burner but it works fast! The location is fantastic and it is quiet at night. We loved how close all the transportation hubs were to the apartment. The restaurant across the street has great takeout.

Perfect location

The apartment is perfectly located, just a few minutes from the tram and buses and a 10 min. walk to the boulevard des Anglais. It is in walking distance to the old town and to most of the sites. Bakeries and grocery stores and many restaurants are also nearby and a 15. min. walk takes you to the train station. The apartment has a modern kitchen with all appliances and plenty of dishes. We were disappointed that because of two large portable air conditioners two of the doors to the balcony could neither be completely closed nor opened. All in all, we recommend this apartment.

When we moved into this apartment, the stove didn't work, there were also ants crawling on the floor, there weren't enough toiletries, shampoo, shower gel.

A few little things were annoying. (1) Only 2 toilet rolls for 3 people for 4 nights so we had to request more (2) there were no garbage bags (3) no instructions for the washing machine so had to waste time on Google to find some. (4) No instructions for oven and microwave (5) didn't discover the drying rack on balcony until day 3 of our stay. Would have been better to be told on arrival. (6) Noisy Aircon. Maybe the owners should prepare a welcome pack with all these things in.
