Antone Creek Lodge, Cabin #3

Antone Creek Lodge is a newly created park/campground featuring park models and tiny homes built by Rich Daniels and the crew of Rich's Portable Cabins of North Powder Oregon. Stay in cabins that made RPC Inc. a success for the last 20 years and a leader in the park model industry. This park is located on Rich and Lori Daniels' property along the Anthony Lakes Hwy. in the Elkhorn mountains, and just 10 miles from Anthony Lakes. Experience the pure clean water of Antone Creek- which runs just 50' from the cabins- and the sound of cascading water outside your cabin window. ACL currently has 4 cabins to choose from, and accommodations for 2-5 people depending on the model. The cabins are privately situated and are accessible to all age groups. Choose from two Classic Double Lofts, a Camp Cabin Studio or a NC loft with slides. All cabins are full featured and set up for comfort. Conveniently located as the closest accommodations to Anthony Lakes Mountain Resort, so you can stay in the snow or escape the heat of the valley. ACL borders national forest and is the starting point for great outdoor adventure.

Featured in this listing is the "Camp Cabin". Categorized as a studio, this model has the largest bedroom of all our cabins offered. It has a kitchenette with 1 sink for the kitchen and bathroom.

GREAT Getaway!
We had a fabulous time in this adorable cabin. Beautiful scenery and beautiful property. We were in Oregon to watch grandsons play football in North Powder and didn't want a motel room. We look forward to coming back soon.

Cute little studio cabin close to Anthony Lakes Ski Resort
Cute, cozy, clean little cabin. Kitchenette was stocked with all necessary utensils and cookware. Hot water heater is tiny! So be prepared and turn water off when you’re soaping up, military style. And Wi-Fi is very weak in cabin 3. We enjoyed our stay and would visit again.

Onsies, coffee and the creek
We will always long for the mornings of lounging on the deck in our marching onsie pajamas, drinking coffee while listening to the rushing creek. Cabin #3 has the best location to enjoy the creek. We absolutely love this place. If you’re thinking of staying here but not sure…do it! You will not be disappointed.

basic stay
The location for cabin 3 is close to the road, so there is traffic noise. Most importantly there are NO screens, it did get warm and it would have been nice to be able to open the door or windows. Mosquitos are bad so screens are a must. Bed was abit uncomfortable. If I were to return I would reqwest cabin 2 it is right by the creek and much more secluded.

This lovely little cabin is situation just above a rushing stream which offers soothing sights and sounds both from the cabin porch and from the picnic table. The cabin is clean and perfectly appointed for a restful, minimalist mountain holiday.

Great experience overall, with new snow and creekside ambiance adding to a very comfortable stay in the cozy cabin. Power went out due to a tree falling on the local line, but apres-ski sun on the deck erased any thoughts of inconvenience. Nice operation, “A plus”, will see you next season!

Nice Winter Stay
My wife, 11-year old, and I have been wanting to visit Anthony Lakes Ski resort for years. We were taking a trip to Idaho and decided to stop over to take in a few ski days. The cabin is in a beautiful spot right along a creek. The resort is about 8 miles away from the resort. Planning our trip was easy as the property owner (Rich) was responsive and flexible. For example, the cabin is advertised as only sleeping two with no mention of if pets were allowed. We reached out to Rich and he responded quickly that we could bring our son and dog. We brought a single-sized blow-up mattress for our son and there was enough floor space for it. Also, if you are going to ski, the cabins are part of the lodging partners network and you can get 10% vouchers that also guarantee you space at the resort. Rich was super responsive in providing these. The cabin was clean and well organized. The kitchen was small but functional with everything needed to cook a full meal. Cell coverage was limited so to call we needed to drive out a few miles. Internet coverage comes from Cabin #1. We were in Cabin #1, about 25 yards away, so coverage was weak. Standing by the window gives you about 2 bars. However, if your purpose is to get away from the plugged-in world (like us), then this isn't a big deal. TV and video library had a good mix. The only thing we would change is that we are allergic to fragrance. There was one of those plug-in fragrance emitters that we put out on the porch during our stay. Overall we liked the cabin and would stay here again.

Great overall
The location was fantastic, the cabin itself was adorable & perfect. Would definitely stay there again & refer people to as well. A few things I would mention, only because it was the smallest unit) was the fact that there wasn’t a little grill available but it worked out as we asked one of the other cabin neighbors if we could use theirs. The lack of hot water was challenging. Again, this is because it’s the smallest unit therefore didn’t have a big water tank. Only got 2-4 minute showers in & that was with us waiting for a while for the other to shower. The street lamp/light was very bright at night. Situated right in view of the window so sleeping was difficult. And this last one is just a personal preference but there was no fan in the bathroom. They had candles which was nice but with the unit being so small, the person not going potty could hear everything. Again, nothing that would prevent us from staying again. The service was wonderful & the scenery was more than I could have asked for.

Peaceful getaway
We were a group of 9 adult family members, and rented three cabins. Lovely quiet remote get-away; the sound of the creek was quite relaxing, & beautiful from the porch of cabin #3. No cell service but that’s part of the charm, and you don’t have to drive far, a mile or so, to reach service to make a call if needed. WiFi is strongest in cabin #1, perfect for notifications, e-mail, reading news; don’t stream video or use it for work, but that is also good because you really should be out enjoying nature in this lovely location! Just a short drive from Anthony Lakes, beautiful any time of the year. There was still some snow around the lakes the weekend of July 4th but not a lot, definitely set aside plenty of time to explore! We’ll definitely return, cabin #1 was our favorite. Loved the full kitchen and the gliding rocking chairs on the front porch!
