Easily accessible by train or car, the city of Norwich, half an hour’s drive away, is excellent for shopping, cafés, theatre, cinema complexes, the cathedral and the castle museum. The pretty Broadland villages, countryside, and RSPB reserve at Strumpshaw Fen are all nearby. Norfolk’s finest sandy beaches, backed with dunes, are 12 miles away.
