Gas barbecue. Fishing (license required). Private parking for 3 cars. No smoking. Please note: There are 4 steps in the garden. There is an unfenced riverside 20 yards from the property.. In a heavenly location on the banks of the River Yare, this very well appointed, detached, holiday property is ideal for a relaxing break whatever the season. It has a large decked area where you can fish or just sit and watch the waterborne craft go by, or to marvel at the wonderful sunsets. Quietly situated down a private road, it is just about a mile from Brundall with its shops and pubs. An ideal base from which to explore the surrounding countryside, and nature enthusiasts will love Strumpshaw Fen (RSPB), 2 miles. Visit the glorious beaches and harbours along the North Norfolk Coast, and Great Yarmouth for family fun. The children will also love BeWILDerwood, a treetop adventure park, and Pleasurewood Hills theme park. Leave the car at home and take the train from the nearby station (½ mile), into the medieval city of Norwich with its castle, cathedral, museums, restaurants and fine shopping, 8 miles. Shop 1 mile, pub and restaurant ½ mile.

Great location for this comfortable lodge with everything you need within walking distance, shops, cafes, pubs and station. Lovely to look out onto the river, to be able to fish from the garden and, weather permitting, sit and enjoy the view.
