A perfect place to stay in Berkeley

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The room was very comfortable and attractive. The back yard is glorious. And the hosts are interesting and welcoming. I'd love to return next visit to Berkeley.

Great place in Berkeley

We were at a conference in Berkeley and this VRBO place was a great spot. We were able to park for the duration and walk to downtown and the campus. There is also a great breakfast joint around the corner. The room was clean and charming with a kitchenette, a toilet in its own room and a bathroom. We plan to stay here again on our next trip to Berkeley.

Communication fell way short

This is my second review. While everything I said in my first review is true -- cute apartment, great location -- the communication this trip was terrible. I never got any response to my request for early check in nor did I get a response to my pleas for a code to get in the apartment. I had to call less than 2 hours before check in. Moreover, the owner's spouse opened the door to the apartment Saturday afternoon when I was napping. It was apparently an accident and she muttered an apology but the owner was incredibly defensive when I messaged about my shock and dismay about the violation of my privacy. I will not be returning, despite the fact that I have plans to do so in May and the fact that they very generously had given me a bottle of wine for booking a second time through VRBO.

Cozy place, great location!

The apartment has everything you need. It’s very comfortable and beautifully decorated. And the location can’t be beat — close to Berkeley and great restaurants. I will definitely be back!

Great studio in fabulous location

We were in town to visit all the relatives. Location in heart of gourmet ghetto is awesome. Walked to Saul's delicatessen, Guerrilla coffee, andronico's market. Also this is a reader's studio. We loved browsing all the books. Thanks for great stay!

Stay in North Berkeley

We had a wonderful stay in North Berkeley! It was exactly as described and conveniently located just off the main street of Gourmet Ghetto. The place was warmly decorated and very welcoming. The hosts were more than gracious about changing our check-in times since we arrived early in the morning and were available at all times if needed. We loved the short walks to grab coffee or lunch and the convenient distance to the University. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and definitely plan to visit family here again.
