For a two day visit, the motel was good. It was quiet and convenient. The room was clean with an updated bathroom. The outdoor pool is excellent. A new coffee pack on day two would have been appreciated.

I traveled with my two 14 yo grandkids. We all loved the pool. The beds were comfortable. I was concerned about noise from people above us but they quieted down early and the air conditioner helped with white noise. The kitchen was very useful. Since we'd been driving all day it was nice to just heat up some food and not have to go anywhere.

I highly recommend this motel! It was freshly renovated, clean both in the room and grounds, the staff were courteous and helpful. They have a good kitchen set up with a normal size fridge, stove, microwave and dishes. Pool was clean, a back deck to relax on and not far from town.

The property was lovely. The check in went with no issues. The room had a stove, full fridge, Microwave and kettle and coffee bar. The room was very clean, the shower and bathroom were well stocked and clean. The property was very close to downtown Oliver. A great property and extremely great value for the price paid.

Good Value, but Comfort and Cleanliness Could Be Improved I chose to stay at the Maple Leaf Motel based on the positive reviews I had read on Expedia. The property is essentially a traditional roadside motel, offering some convenient amenities, including a kitchenette, full bathroom, and ample parking at the rear for RVs and larger trailers. Unfortunately, my three-night stay was less comfortable than I had hoped. From the first night, I found the bed uncomfortable and struggled to get a decent night's sleep. The room itself also had a somewhat stale, damp atmosphere. The bedding, towels, and overall space had a musty smell that left me questioning how thoroughly or recently everything had been cleaned. I ultimately chose to sleep on the couch for the remaining two nights, where I was at least able to get some rest. On the positive side, the motel offers very reasonable value, particularly when compared with the exceptionally high accommodation prices in Oliver, British Columbia. For budget-conscious travellers, the amenities and convenient parking are definite advantages. Overall, while the Maple Leaf Motel served its purpose and provided an affordable place to stay, the lack of comfort and freshness significantly affected my experience. I would personally hesitate to stay here again without improvements in these areas. That said, it met my budget, provided shelter, and served its basic purpose for this trip.
