Upon arriving we found that the pool was closed, covered by a steel cover. We refused to stay at this location, and were compelled to pay for one night. Even though we studied the description of this offering on your Expedia web page, no mention was made of the pool being unavailable. This was an entirely unsatisfactory experience. No coffee pot or bathroom essentials or hair dryer. No iron & ironing board. No tissues. The tile by the carpets was all broken. No daily towels without asking. We travel a lot & this is the worst place we’ve stayed. The room was clean but the walls were chipped, mismatched furniture. Motel is obviously very old and is in great need of renovation. Room was adequate for just me and this stay. Although the room itself appeared to be clean, it really did not feel that way. It was very bare with few amenities. I reserved it due to low cost and good location to the sports venue I was attending. The hotel is older and needs some up dates but the room was clean. Everything smelled fresh. There weren't any stains on the carpet, no peeling paint, and no signs of mildew.
