“The ideal location of this luxury apartment made our trip to Orvieto a success. The rooms were spacious, beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. The view was beautiful! My only complaint is bedding for the pull out couch was not provided even after I asked at check in. There is one flight of stairs to enter the building. “La Piccola Locanda is not a hotel, they don’t have a front desk. The owner sends an email before check in date explaining this “Albergo diffuso accomodation concept” meaning they can place you anywhere, the check in time are only from 11:00 - 2:45 and 6 -11:00 pm. The owner left me the keys on top of a barell, the entrance to the building was like a storage, no elevator, I dragged my suitcase 5 stair flights, and I was alone in the whole building, very scary! I ended up staying somewhereelse!”
