"My husband and I stayed at the Martivs for 2 nights before our cruise. Everything about this hotel was perfect. We arrived at 7:30 am and thought we wouldn’t be able to check in until later in the day but a room was ready for us right away. Also, we were upgraded to a larger room which was absolutely heavenly. This hotel is a mix of old charm and modern luxury. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was beautiful. Breakfast was delicious and filling. The hotel is situated in a quiet courtyard within a busy area of Rome, close to many sights. 2 doors down was an amazing Gelato place called Giolitti. Although it is in the heart of the action, our room was quiet and had a romantic feel. I would definitely stay here the next time we are in Rome. This was one of our favourite hotels in Europe. We hope to be back soon."
