"This place is super nice and still smells brand new. The host was so sweet to leave a smores kit for us. The beds are super comfortable and the kitchen is really well equipped. It was a pretty easy walk down the hill to the lake. I would highly recommend this place. We will 100% stay here again. "

My husband is in a nursing home in McAlester and whenever I go to visit (it is 3.5 hours from my home), I have to spend the night. I will stay at this motel every time I visit him."

"This place was amazing, as always, especially after a trip filled with hotels with no customer service and high incidental fees. We walked in at 1:30 am, gave the clerk my name, started to pull out my ID, and he said, "I got it, here's your key". That was it. Less than a minute to check in, no high incidental fees, total kindness to a couple checking in late after a long drive. And the room was large, inviting, and comfortable with a pretty view of the pond. That was the perfect ending to our trip. Thank you!"

"The Hubs & I had a Great Time staying at “The Shack” in Canadian/Lake Eufaula. Just wish we’d have booked a longer stay! It’s so nice & peaceful by the lake & just close enough to everything you need. I’m sure we’ll be returning again soon. Tracy, our host was very helpful & communicating with her was a breeze. Would definitely recommend for a nice relaxing getaway!"

"Great community and great location. We had trouble finding the house. We didn’t have cell service there with AT&T. We were finally able to get the number to call and they helped us find the house. We took advantage of everything Carlton Landing. Yoga, 3 pools, Aqua Park, coffee every morning, shopping, volleyball, and Mama Tig’s pizza. Bring your own ping pong balls. We would love to go back!"
"Breakfast was awesome. They served real scrambled eggs with cheese and bacon in them, biscuits and gravy, and fried potatoes. It was cooked just like you would at home. We have stayed at several Laquinta hotels recently and none of the others serve real eggs that actually taste good. Your breakfast is the best."
