They are in the midst of remodeling, so one would hope some of the issues would resolve with completion of that project. Our original handicap room had a leaking showerhead and a wet bathroom floor upon our arrival. Once the maintenance person stopped the drip, there was no water to the shower at all and we were moved to a different room. Front desk staff were responsive to our problem and fortunately were able to place us in another ground floor room or it would have proven challenging.
Construction clutter was noticeable but couldn’t be blamed for all of the cleanliness issues we encountered. Seating in the lobby area was absolutely disgusting. We chose to stand.
Breakfast was mediocre at best. The lunchtime service on the patio was very slow even before a rainstorm that blew through, but it was the Fourth of July so that may not be the norm. Our food was good, though, and portions were generous.
The patio/beach area was nice. The beach area was good-sized and sandy and the availability of the docks was great for our pontooning day.
