"Sandy does a nice job of welcoming you, with her friendliness and her creative expression seen in every detail of her home. It was a very comfortable stay in all aspects. My one caution, which she has stated, is it is an upstairs apartment, so it is not handicap accessible in any way."

"The proximity to Great Lakes Recruitment Center, Sarge’s Meet & Greet, restaurants, etc. is perfect. We were in town for our son’s boot camp graduation and knew we wanted more room to hang out than a typical hotel room would offer. It was great to be able to relax, watch movies, just hang out with our sailor for the precious two days we had. This place has location, location, location if you’re coming in for boot camp graduation."

Homewood Suites by Hilton Chicago-Lincolnshire

"It was an awesome room. 2 beds and a pullout couch. We had akitchenette a well in our room. Only complaint is the pool temp was a bit cold. I did say something to someone and it seemed it warm up after. The area doesn't really have much to walk but it's about 45 minutes from Chicago(depending on traffic) which is where we are actually visiting. Chicago itself is great for pedestrian traffic. "

Holiday Inn Express & Suites Waukegan, an IHG Hotel

"Pros: The staff was very polite and addressed any issue presented. The food was nice. Pool and weight room were convenient. The location of hotel was convenient to all our traveling needs. Cons: The sheets were not clean or appear to be clean. After we asked for a replacement, the next comforter we received had a hole in it. The tall standing mirror in the bedroom was dirty. The walls in the hotel are super thin. You can hear full conversations of people in the hallways and other rooms. "
