"Great location. Everything is within walking distance. Condo was very nice and clean. We had a small hiccup with the AC but the owner took care of it within 30 mins. Owners were very helpful with the local hangouts and very nice. We will definitely return. "
"The staff made this the best getaway ever! They were so friendly and even let me make waffles for my sons after I didn't realize the weekday breakfast hours were different than weekends and showed up late! They have warm cookies, juice and coffee in the lobby 24-7, computers readily on and available, and they were constantly cleaning the lobby area! The rooms were nice and clean, although big water spots on the ceiling showed the age of the property and tons of dead bugs on the little balcony were not my favorite. The hotel was experiencing elevator and water issues, but they left notes under our doors to inform us of the times of the inconveniences, and it was not a problem. The little kitchen was fully stocked with silverware, dishes, pots and pans so we were able to cook/eat food that we brought in our room. The ice makers worked on every floor and they even had recycling bins in with them! The pool is small, but refreshing and they have clean towels outside for your use. I would definitely stay again. :-) "
"Staying at the Hanger House was great! Before check-in, I had a couple of questions and Bud was quick to respond. The kitchen was fully stocked with all of our needs. It had plenty of handsoap, dishwashing detergent and papertowels. There was plenty of toliet paper in the bathroom and the owner even has shampoo/conditioner and body wash in the shower. Many rentals through a rental company do not supply enough of these items and it really helps make a vacation much easier when you dont have to worry about these items. The house was in a great location....a very quiet neighborhood, and close to many things. There was easy access to a waterhose to wash items off after a trip to the beach. I think the only single thing I would add would be a nightlight for the kids room. We've been coming to the area for 7 years and this was one of the best homes we have stayed in. Kuddos to Bud (included a photo of one of the our favorite relaxing place on the porch!)"

"The stay at the “mermaid” house was fantastic from arrival through departure!! The house was clean, comfortable and stocked with amenities! The open floor plan was ideal! And location, location, location!! We could walk to the beach, restaurants and shops. Oh, and almost every business is pet friendly! We would highly recommend this place to family and friends!"

"Great place to stay. We loved that it was within walking distance of Piggly Wiggly on one side and the bay and park on the other. There was also a great bar with live music on the weekends within walking and listening distance. Having a bedroom and bathroom along with a half bath downstairs in both units made this trip much easier for everyone. Everything was clean and well stocked."

"Perfect little getaway spot. Literally a 2 minute drive to beach. Great pools on site. The cottage has pretty much everything you need. Right by the gated entrance, yet quiet and safe. A short drive to shops, stores, restaurants in “downtown” Port St. Joe. Just beware there are steep steps to get to the bedrooms. But all in all, we really enjoyed our stay and would stay again if we ever find ourselves in the area."
"This was a great quiet place to stay for my two daughters, wife and myself. We were looking for somewhere to avoid the crowds of Panama City and Destin and this was exactly what we wanted. This is no way a knock on the property, but it does say it will sleep 8 and I think it would be crowded with more than 2 adults since there is one bathroom, but with two parents and up to 3 or 4 kids it is perfect. Everything for my family exceeded our expectations. "

"As mentioned on the Vacasa review we left, the property owners should just find someone else to manage the property. The property is clean and new. The listing is slightly misrepresented as there is no fitness area and you cannot bring several cars unless they are small.Most importantly, we had several issues with plumbing and hot water that could have easily been fixed early in our stay, but unfortunately, it is impossible to reach anyone local with the Vacasa process. Days without hot water or water pressure and the only bathtub in the unit with the drain issue.Until the properties maintained by a different service, I would not recommend it."

"We have stayed at this property before and love it! We had beautiful views of the water from the back porch rocking chairs. The home is very comfortable with plenty of room including a wonderful screened porch. This property is conveniently located in a gated community not far from Port St. Joe. The property manager contacted us to make sure we arrived with no problems. The owners left a welcome packet which was greatly appreciated! We hope to come back again!"
