8.2/10 Very Good! (763 reviews)
Staff here are very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Hotel is dated and not very well kept. I booked a deluxe/larger room but was given a basic/smaller room. The discrepancy was raised to the staff and I was changed to a different room. The room still does not look like the photos on Expedia, so be aware... As other reviewers have pointed out, the hotel in a part of a jointed hotel that's a few doors down, and you you get to this hotel building through a backside walkway - kind of strange.
However, the hotel in a great location, just 2 blocks away from Formosa Blvd Station which is where both of of the MRT lines intersect in a very centralized location. The Liuhe Night Market is 1 block away from the hotel, with ample of eateries and convenience stores just seconds away from the hotel.
Breakfast is Asian/Taiwanese centric and had a decent variety. Dishes are freshly cooked and made of good quality ingredients - lots of veggies which suited me well on a healthy diet.
Overall, this is a decent hotel for a weekend trip or if you prioritize sightseeing.
