We could ride our bikes from the patio to the trail head of both Brown’s Ranch and McDowell Mountain parks, no need to load bikes or drive. For stores and restaurants, there is a 20 minute drive but the clean, comfy guest house, and recreation convenience is well worth it! The place was nice my biggest complaint would the host being overly involved, she lives right next door. It was decorated with care and really made me feel like I was staying in somebody's home. The bed was extremely comfortable and I loved the soft, fluffy towels. Very quiet and peaceful at night. I really appreciated the washer and dryer to do some laundry mid-way through my trip.
