All was really very good

This guy s such a gem of a hotel! Love the old world charm & character, even though it’s a common complaint. It could use a bit of an update. The balcony was wonderful, as well as breakfast. The room was tiny compared to what advertised, also the A/C being turned off for good at this time year is a real head scratcher. Word of advice, we noticed the windows in the stairway were open, so we propped open the door to stairwell & kept the chain on the open door for air flow. I do agree on those weird foam pillows. Another tip, since it was still pretty warm in the room, we pulled the comforter out of the duvet, then put the folded up comforter in an extra pillow case & used it as a pillow. The duvet cover by itself was perfect. Would recommend this hotel for the hearty budget traveler. The view of the lake from the room is just epic.
