9.2/10 Wonderful! (1,431 reviews)
Air conditioner was dripping condensation everywhere and there were black stains on the wall from the moisture. Hotel has a lot of dry rot, also beat up a bit from the hurricane I imagined. Homeless were across the parked across the street at the park. I wasn’t sure I made the best choice, but my stay there was pleasant. Bed was comfy but extremely soft. I loved the feral cats and peacocks who came to my door in the morning. Roosters are very loud if you need to sleep in. Neighbors were extremely loud as well. A lot of amazing fun touches for families- movies playing at night on the projector. Kids were the pool having a blast . Absolutely beautiful backdrop of mountains. The continental breakfast was super amazing. The owners have a lot of little touches to make the stay enjoyable and comfortable. The hotel is old and a little run down but the charm makes up for it and I felt totally safe the whole time. Awesome location if you need to get to airport in the morning. I felt like I got a better value in Kapa’a where I was staying, but I appreciated the experience and hospitality.
