Ray Vacations from $995

We reserved this room for a weekend trip in the area. While checking in we were told there was no elevator or rooms available on the first floor. On top of that accommodation not being able to be met, the hotel itself is a 2 star hotel at best. It was not a nice property and in a sketch part of town and we decided not to stay there. We did reserve through a 3rd party and insured the trip but it's also been difficult as the hotel has not responded to their inquiries and confirmed that we did not stay there and/or will not grant a refund. The room was reserved under a no cancelation policy and they do not have to honor a refund but I would think they would cooperate and acknowledge we never got keys for the hotel or stayed in a room during the duration of the reservation.

It appears when booking through Expedia that the host has more than one property available. The property we were directed to stay in was not the one we booked, but the one we booked was a few more dollars, had a nicer shower and slightly different seating setup. The unit was nice, very clean, convenient, but I would have booked the cheaper-priced unit if I’d known that’s the one I’d be staying in.

It took 10 minutes running the faucets to get any hot water in the sink and shower.
