"The experience was wonderful. The ambiance of the restored house with original hardwood and inlays, the attention to details in even the ceiling fixtures was a delight for the eyes. Likewise, having a hot meal daily between 8:30AM -10:30AM is worth another visit. In addition, learning about the historical facts about the property was insightful. Therefore, the Oaklawn Inn is excellent with a daily hot freshly cooked different meal served, great hospitality, and historical facts that will make anyone appreciate the Victorian Era. "My priority was that the room be quiet and it was. It was a double queen bed room on the 2nd floor on a Saturday night.. There was a refrigerator in the room; the bathroom was spotless and the beds very comfortable. I enjoyed a hot breakfast of eggs, ham and fried potatores and good coffee in the morning."
