A lovely place to stay and explore Gorges du Verdon area. Set beside Lac Ste Le Croix there are stunning views, I want to go back to get proper photos as I got my camera stolen in Marseille.
There's a snack bar at the lake for beer and snacks, or go up into the town for great food in restaurants overlooking the lake. Loved this place

Sofabed so squeaky that it will likely wake up the whole room if you move at all. - Aircondition in room - but not working. - Showerhead could not be fastened. "Lou Paradou was a beautiful aparthotel in a gorgeous little town. The staff were so lovely and friendly, the hotel was spotless and the pool area was really nice and well maintained. The breakfast was always well stocked and there was plenty of choice every day. I would 100% recommendation this hotel and would return if was visiting Provence again! "

"I hate writing negative reviews, but if I saw a review like this, I would 't have made the mistake of staying. Its rare the rating system on this site fails me, but holy carp, this was not good. 6.0 at best. Didn't feel right when we pulled up in the neighborhood, no one at check-in, but keys stapled to the wall. The room was no frills, which was fine, but even the common areas were 2-star. AC not working well was the icing on the cake. We almost left, but it was just a quick crash for the night , shower and leave early in the morning. At half the price, maybe, as that would told you exactly what the place was. "
