Car Rental Downtown Querétaro

When you've been to all of the fabulous places in Downtown Querétaro, there's plenty more to explore in the region. Grab the keys to a rental car, throw your luggage in the trunk and get on the road. We've come up with some drives we're confident you'll enjoy:

• You'll discover Juarez Theater and lots more intriguing sights in Guanajuato. From Downtown Querétaro, it's roughly 65 miles away.
• Next stop? It has to be Mexico City, which is around 110 miles away. Zócalo is one local draw card you won't want to miss.
• Make tracks to Jardines de México for a day out in nature. Take a picnic to enjoy or just sit and unwind. From Downtown Querétaro, it's approximately 150 miles away.

If you don't possess a driver's license issued in Mexico, then you may need to get an International Driving Permit (IDP) in your home country in order to rent a car. It's also important to note that if you do need an IDP, it has no validity on its own. You'll be asked to show your current driver's license your passport and other forms of documentation as well. Lastly, make sure the credit card you used to book the rental vehicle matches the name on your driver's license and passport. Some added requirements for international car rentals are:

• Age restrictions: You'll need to be at least 25 in most countries to rent a car. If you're younger than that, it might still be possible to rent a car but you'll have to pay a Young Driver's Surcharge. Additional restrictions may also apply to the types of cars you can rent.
• Driving limitations: Be sure to read the fine print before you drive away. You typically can't cross country borders, drive onto ferries or on certain types of rugged terrain with a rental car.
