There are lots of things to see and do in La Paz, but venture farther afield and you'll find more sightseeing magic. Book a set of wheels and you can cruise around the greater area at your leisure. Add these fantastic places to your list:

• Make your way to Santa Marta for an excellent sightseeing experience. Around 110 miles from La Paz, it's home to many amazing attractions, including Rodadero Beach.
• Next stop? Barranquilla, which is around 65 miles away. Venezuela Park is one local draw card you won't want to miss.
