“Food wasn’t amazing. Options limited. It felt like the staff would purposefully not be 100% actively looking to serve you. Maybe to save on drinks or food. But everything took too long as is to control the drinks and food going out. All the alcohol was random no name stuff. Included. If you wanted anything a bit better it was extra. For as cheap as Cartagena is you’re better off doing a regular hotel and eating and drinking out. Or buying it and bringing into your room or whatever.”

“The hotel was located in an excellent location. The room and facility was spotless. Only 1 thing that we didn't like - everyday we returned to our room, the cleaning person was just chilling in our room. It was like we startled her by returning and she'd start back cleaning. We enjoyed the free food at the lounge for breakfast and throughout the day. The pool was amazing. We walked to a breakfast cafe a couple blocks away, walked to dinner one evening. The hotel is connected to a mall and……

“Room dated and had a clogged sink plus gnats biting me all night and a roach that crawled onto a shirt and across my pillows. Washing all clothes from my suitcase, even those unworn, as a result. Basic complaint was cleaning service as rest of the staff was lovely. Took 3 attempts and nearly two hours to have some broken glass from a water bottle cleaned off the floor with stressing that it was urgent since I was with my 16 month old grandson.”
