There are lots of things to see and do in Lindisfarne, but venture farther afield and you'll find more sightseeing magic. Grab a set of wheels and you can meander around the surrounding region at your own speed. Add these fantastic drives to your itinerary:

• Launceston is approximately 100 miles from Lindisfarne. Famous tourist attractions like Cataract Gorge should be high on your list while you're in town.
• Roughly 45 miles away, Derwent Valley Council is also a favorite with travelers. Make time to experience Mt. Wellington while you're in town. It's one of the reasons people love this city.
• Get into the outdoors and breathe in some fresh air at Tarkine Forest Adventures at Dismal Swamp. You'll find it approximately 180 miles from Lindisfarne.
