There are so many things to do in Phnom Penh City Centre, but venture farther afield and you'll find even more magic. Pick up a set of wheels and you can meander around the surrounding region at your leisure. Add these fantastic places to your travel schedule:

• Head off to Sihanoukville for an excellent sightseeing adventure. About 120 miles from Phnom Penh City Centre, it has tons of great attractions like Sokha Beach.

If you don't have a driver's license issued in Cambodia, then you'll likely need to get an International Driving Permit (IDP) in your place of residence in order to rent a car. Also consider that if an IDP is required, it has no validity on its own. You'll have to show your current license your passport and other forms of identification as well.
