There's heaps to do in Vysehrad, but head farther afield and you'll find more sightseeing magic. Pick up a set of wheels and you can discover the greater area at your leisure. Add these awesome destinations to your itinerary:

• You'll discover Pilsner Urquell Brewery and lots more amazing attractions in Plzen. From Vysehrad, it's roughly 50 miles away.
• Around 70 miles away, Karlovy Vary is also popular with wanderers. Set aside time to take in Elizabeth's Spa while you're here. It's one of the reasons people love visiting this vibrant city.
• Find your way to Lednice-Valtice Complex to discover some local nature. Pack a picnic to enjoy or just relax in the fresh air. From Vysehrad, it's 140 miles away.

If you don't hold a driver's license issued in Czechia, then you might need to acquire an International Driving Permit (IDP) in your home country to be able to rent a car. You should also be aware that if an IDP is required, it won't be valid on its own. You'll be asked to show your driver's license from your home country your passport and other forms of documentation as well.
