We ended up being forced to pay it since it was too late to find another Motel. Staff was extremely friendly. Unfortunately the area around the property was not a good part of town and we felt very unsafe. The occupants of the hotel room adjacent to ours had a screaming fight at 2am and I had to call police when the male occupant started trying to break down the door with his head. He was screaming obscenities. The owners/staff of the property did not appear to respond to this incident. Had I nit phoned 911, I'm not sure anyone would have done anything.
