“Lovely area - Harlow Park. The property has a beautiful well- kept garden. The owner and staff were friendly and helpful, the atmosphere in the house was homely. Food and drink available to buy and prepare on site in the well- eqipped kitchen. Books and board games galore. ”

“Very friendly and helpful checkin lady at 1am! Clean room, very comfy bed. Nice and quiet. One block from 24/7 McDonald's... And a mini market. Would 100% stay here again!!”

“The staff were lovely and made booking in a pleasant experience. The room was spacious and clean, but smelled a little musty. Could have done with an airing first. Bed was comfortable. The power cut first thing in the morning was a bit of a challenge but it did eventually get sorted. The midday checkout made life a lot easier. I couldn’t stay for breakfast because I had already made other plans so I can’t really comment on it but I’m sure it would’ve been nice. I would book again if I was going……

“We decided to start our holiday early and stay at the Stansted Airport Lodge before our 7am flight the following morning. We didn't arrive at the hotel until about 10pm but were we greeted at reception by a friendly and helpful staff member and shown to our room. The room was basic but spacious and you could see the airport from one of the windows. We weren't there long as we left at 4:30am but we did have a few hours sleep in a comfortable bed. We would stay here again if we had an early flight……

“A lovely quirky hotel close to Hertfordshire University. Many food places close by however, the onsite restaurant was delicious and the staff friendly, polite and welcoming. The rooms were generous sized and well equipped for our stay. We would definitely return. ”
