"This recently updated family-owned property is a retreat from the hustle of busy streets, beaches and mega-resorts. The rooms are large, comfortable and very clean.Having the hosts downstairs is an added bonus--good conversation, tips for getting around, breakfast (small extra ) if desired. Their big ole dog has quite the personality. He quickly warms up to guests after a day or two. He does not go upstairs; he keeps to himself in a corner or inside the house. "Unique, large hotel. Good service staff at small pool bar in front of the beach excellent, Otavio was very attentive along with the other lady bartender. Food: It was hard to get in to the steak house, told no reservations required but that was not the case. Same for the sushi restaurant. One dinner at each would have been a better experiences as buffet eating gets old. "
