"It was everything we hoped. After a long day of traveling it was nice to just relax. Checking in was easy with great communication! The drive was so peaceful and beautiful. Parking was great Beds and amenities were spot on Communication was above and beyond- especially because I forgot my jewelry and was informed quickly! It was shipped to me and I am so grateful. I would definitely recommend and would stay again!"

"A very clean and well appointed option in the Black Hills. Great view from the back deck and the patio heater came in handy in the evening. Nice to be out in the hills where our dogs could run around and burn off some energy in the mornings and evenings. Easy check in and check out and the hosts were great to work with."

"Had a great time. Beds were very comfortable and house was cozy. Parking was a little tight. The cookware needs to be replaced. And maybe some sponges/cleaning equipment to clean up afterwards. Other than that it was a great stay. Everything was very clean."

"Amazing accommodations! The Depot was exactly as it looked! Dishes and everything else you'd need, it was all right there. My 17yo loved the Hideaway bed and my 15yo son slept on the nice loveseat cause he is not "normal". Haha. The hosts were great and I would fully recommend this property to anyone who is looking for a fun and exciting stay in the gulches near Deadwood and Lead! Incredible and something the 3 of us will never forget!"

"One of the best places to stay in the Black Hills. My husband, kids and I have stayed at many different locations in the area. Mountain Escape is our favorite. The location is perfect. Beautiful spot just a few miles outside of Deadwood, right on the snowmobile trails, and right next to the gas station to fuel up. The cabin is perfectly set up for our family. "My fourth trip to Deadwood and my very best. I have stayed on Main St. three of those times and this rental was just perfect. The location is the best for everything deadwood. Super clean, quite, so nice to relax on front porch, excellent laundry area, linens are high quantity, kitchen had everything we needed, check in and out was a breeze. Will definitely stay here again."

"My cousin and I really enjoyed our stay at the Hideout. It was charming, clean and at a beautiful location. The owner/manager was extremely helpful and gladly helped us out when we had any questions. If I ever get back to the Black Hills, this is where I'll lay my head. My neighbor is expecting to be there in the fall and has this on her preferred place to stay, dates allowing."

"Walking distance to everything downtown! The unit is luxury Deadwood with beautiful furnishings and great bathroom with 2 sinks and big shower. The kitchen has everything you need. The host was good on getting us the information before we arrived and also text us a couple of times if we needed anything. We definitely will be staying there again!"

"Overall, this house was well stocked with towels and the hot tub was great. We were thinking this would be a little more remote than it was, given a neighbor is right across the creek. The back of the house was a peaceful hillside though. We didn't realize there also wasn’t a dishwasher. While washing our own dishes was fine, the ones already put away weren’t all clean."

"We did a short trip to Mount Rushmore and our stay here was just if not more rewarding than the monument itself. Stay here over a hotel!!"
