“This is a quaint place to stay after a day of exploring the Black Hills. The room was clean and inviting. And with the common room, my friends, who love hot tea in the morning, could drink, sit on the sofa and anticipate the day’s adventures. We were given a discount at dinner at Shipwrecks, which is on the property. The next morning we were able to select from a variety of breakfast foods. “Booked for July 2026. House has 4 bedrooms but only 2 full size beds, other rooms are twin or bunk beds. House was musty smelling. Only has AC in 1 room with fans, it was very hot while there and house did fell Fair but did cool off at night. Location of house is perfectly located in middle of all Black Hills attractions, which was a great fit. And just outside city of Custer. House was not real clean when we arrived. Floors and carpet dirty with dead insects and cob webs in corners. Kitchen……
