“Absolutely beautiful place to stay . Captures everything I loved about the Camino . Surrounded by fields , set in quintessential gardens with a horreo and intimate seating areas . Somewhere to dry your handwashing too ! All the staff we met were very helpful- including the driver who picked us up in Palai de Rei .
Food good too .
Unfortunately they had a power cut whilst we were there but the staff were amazing- candles were placed around and they still made our dinner which was delicious. Not……
“The staff was wonderful;, and we were allowed to have our dog on the patio at the cafeteria. The shower size was ample and the pressure was about the best I have seen, There was also a REAL, FULL SIZE blow dryer! The room was a nice size.”
“Comfortable stay deep in the mountains with stunning views and pleasing decor, except for the insects that bothered just one of us at night The apartment had 3 levels with the steep stairs to the bathroom below, it took time to get used to it. The road close to the location is narrow, curvy and challenging but worth the drive. The host did not speak English. The kitchen had everything we needed except for the lid for the kettle. We appreciate that place like that existed deep in nature.”
“Not on The Camino to Santiago (2 hours on foot from Palas de Rei) but a great stop if you want an idyllic getaway in the middle of your pilgrimage, gorgeous views and facilities, Gourmet food and extremely delicious dishes you will not find anywhere else typical of Galicia. We were extremely impressed with the two bathroom comfortable accommodations and very spacious layout.”
