Cecile and Davide were excellent hosts and their dog, Balto :) The house is about a 10 min cycle from Saint Savienen, where you can rent boats, do shopping etc. We would recommend this gite to anyone. "Fantastic house and grounds in a wonderful location - feels like a proper escape to the middle of nowhere, but still only 15mins from the beautiful town of Saintes.Plenty of space for all of us (3 couples plus 2 young children aged 5 & 2) and a fantastic pool and gardens.
