“Chambre propre”

“Booked into this hotel at the last moment because of a last minute change of plans. Only stayed one night, just wished we could have stayed longer. The hotel is in a lovely, peaceful setting just a few minutes walk from Jumierges Abbey (go early before the day visitors arrive!). The staff were so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. Just wish we had had enough time to use the very inviting swimming pool!”

“Emergency accommodation only. Stayed for a night after running late on a road trip. The plus side of this hotel: it’s cheap and close to super large Carrefour shopping complex Otherwise: sound insulation non existent- your hear the neighbour walking in the room, the bath cubicle is smaller than in any Japanese hotel and the double bed keeps you cosy. Was good for a night, but would not have stayed longer”

“Beautiful property in the heart of the countryside. Tristan was a warm, friendly and accommodating host, essentially opening up his home to his guests, from food and drinks to recommendations for things to do. The grounds of the property are extensive and peaceful, with chickens, ducks and his dog Piscot. The room was comfortable (even though the temperatures outside were extreme), the shower effective, and the breakfast was extensive, with excellent service. Huge recommendation especially if……

“Des hôtes fumaient dans leur chambre et couloir ca sentait jusqu'à dans notre chambre. Un micro-onde au premier étage est mis à disposition. Une utilisation jusqu'au petit matin pour certains gênant l'établissement en riant et parlant très fort. Une odeur, dès l'entrée de l'hôtel d'encens mélangé à de la friture émane et c'est franchement désagréable. Sinon propreté dans la chambre, bonne literie et personnel agréable et souriant. Petit déjeuner très basique mais cohérent avec un hôtel 1ère……

“The views and grounds were stunning, especially the morning mist over the river. However, the public areas looked run-down and needed cleaning, and the freezers inexplicably placed near one of the reception rooms were odd. Our room was clean, but breakfast was mediocre with off-tasting coffee and inedible pineapple. Worth visiting for the views, but expect some cleanliness issues.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​”
