"Very good location - easy to go into La Fortuna and other attractions. Out room is the Volcano Room which is basically a duplex connected with another half of villa. It is the front row of the villas with direct volcano cone view off the patio (we only see the volcano once in three days due to cloud and rain in the rainy season) the room is spacious, clean and well equipped with an oversized washroom. The management also provided a chocolate plate as a welcome gift, which is a nice touch. However we found the hot springs ponds not warm enough ( which was improved the next two days) the regular hot tub is much warmer in comparison…also the included breakfast is under par with non fresh fruits and foods. We still tipped the omelette station anyhow."

"The hotel was nice and clean and super convenient to the airport. The whole staff was very friendly, but we especially enjoyed conversing with Fernando. My wife and I had a wonderful dinner in the restaurant, and Fernando was our waiter. He was very friendly and made us feel right at home (like we have been friends for years even though we just met). Thank you."

"The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. My partner and I went to celebrate our anniversary, and it was an excellent choice. The spa, the food, the hot springs—can't wait to go back and take more people with us. We had a couples massage and did yoga while we were there. Our massage therapists were excellent and the setting of the spa pagodas was idyllic. So relaxing and refreshing."

"My husband and I stayed at Chachagua rainforest for 5 nights last week; Master Bungalow. The tree houses were sold out ☹️. Such a beautiful, peaceful, safe, and breathtaking resort . The scenery is gorgeous: hot springs, rivers, trees, flowers. Daily housekeeping: linens, towels, bathrobes are replaced by fresh and clean ones. Wonderful staff who payed close attention to our needs: Maria❤️🌸, Enersto, Ericka , Nathalie , Kimberly, Roberto, Gretchen , Emma , Karen. ( sorry I forgot some names). Staff of Thermo et Colibri restaurants; tour guy, the spa’s ladies; thank you💕. Driver Norman; thank you for driving us from Chachagua to Guanacaste safely. Thank you to the wonderful staff of Chachagua Rainforest resort for making our stay so memorable and unforgettable❤️."
