Good for a night's stay. The hotel is a bit older but a pretty good value for the price. The room interior was surprisingly updated. The staff was friendly. The breakfast consisted of pastries and light items you can take back to the room. Expect at ten minute drive to get to Capital and most tourist attractions.
I didn't get a chance to use the pool but I saw one on site.
The Greek Restaurant next door has the best falafels if you need a meal after a long day's drive.
Our major complaint is that the advertised breakfast was not available until 8:00 am. We bought breakfast at 6:30 am at a near by McDonalds to bring back to the room. We left the hotel at 7:30 am. The "free" breakfast was worthless to us. Our other complaint was the room heater was rather loud so we shut it off overnight. The room was rather chilly by morning. Everything else was fine. We ate dinner at the Greek restaurant next door, basically in the same parking lot. It was very good.

The staff are friendly and the room was good. But the property is right off a Main Street which was extremely loud to be able to sleep at night from cars noise.
We were just traveling. Our needs were met without issues or compromise. Place was clean and comfortable.

The Rowley Farmhouse micro brewery was close by just a short walk away and really great. The area was a bit older and with the road close by was abit noisy. The room was fine and clerk was very friendly.
I choose this hotel based on the rating, and it did not fail. Great check in, very friendly and accommodating. Clean room, spacious, loved it had a bathtub. Small TV, but nothing on anyways, instead we did some shopping, Many stores, and plenty eats near by.

The picture is not what the our room looked like. The walls are paper thin, the AC is a wall unit and is extremely loud. The same unit is the heat and you can't set a temperature so you are either freezing or roasting. They say they have breakfast but all it is is weak coffee and twinkies.

Good but pictures are misleading
The pictures and ratings were overstated. Didn’t feel safe and it was pretty loud as you could hear people above walking around.

The staff was nice and friendly. We stayed only one night there. The room looks old and everything is outdated. Floor is cold.
The lady at the front counter was expecting us and very friendly. We asked for a quiet room and she accommodated us. Upon entering our room, we were pleasantly surprised as to how clean it smelled, not musty at all. It was nicely decorated, had blackout curtains and the heater worked well. The bed was very comfortable with fresh sheets. The hotwater in the bathroom was fine, with adequate pressure. It was a budget friendly, clean and comfortable. Highly recommend.
Everything was really good on the property with the exception of two things: you can easily hear your neighbors next to you and the road noise is pretty bad But if you’re OK with that, it’s a wonderful place
I liked that it was close to everything, even hiking trails.

The outside of the place makes you think you might get murdered in it but the actual room was fine. The shower head needed to be tightened because water shot out the top where the threads were and I didn’t notice until morning that the bed had a brownish stain on the side. Management seemed nice but there was a guy wandering around with a pizza box hanging down at his side claiming to be Uber eats, he dropped it picked the pizza up off the ground and put it back in the box to continue walking around the outside. So that was sus. The heat worked really well and it had a mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker.

Not clean. Fridge wasn’t cleared out from previous guest.
We stayed at the property for three nights. We were told that there was no housekeeping services available for us during our stay. The rooms were somewhat dirty. The pool was non functional. The breakfast options and the area left a lot to be desired. The price was quite reasonable.
This is an older property but has been touched up to a reasonably nice appearance. Our room was attractive, updated and pleasant. For a nice room at a very reasonable price, this place cannot be beat.
Owners are quite nice and bent over backwards to help accommodate us for an emergency room change mid-afternoon (upstairs to downstairs due to skiing accident) when they had a full house.
When I go back to Santa Fe, I WILL stay here again
For a first time stay I wouldn't have usually stayed here. But reading the reviews compared to other chain motels this one had the best and they lived up to them. Room was clean and tidy, bed and pillows were comfortable, heater worked great since we were there when it was cold. Was a good choice for 2 night stay. Would stay there again.

We were in room 402 and at 12:30 AM the young adults (at least 5 people) in room 401 which our wall connected theirs partied and yelled and argued and slammed doors all night long. We finally got up frustrated and left at 6AM.
Terrible night!
