"Amazing is an understatement. The hosts were very gracious, attentive, pleasant, informative, & over all the best host we have ever had the pleasure of staying with. The bungalow was very clean, bed was comfy and firm & necessary toiletries were provided & up kept. Even with no AC it got so cold at night that it wasn’t needed. It is very high up in the mountains, if you have never been to Costa Rica just be prepared for very steep, thin, one roaded roadways going up to the cottage. The views and peaceful surrounding make everything worth wild. Over all we recommend and look forward to returning here someday. "

"Beautiful accommodations - up to date, spacious room, large bathroom. The grounds were very attractive and well kept. Dining was very good which is nice since the lodge is a bit out of the way from other options. Good location - not too far from San Jose and close to the Poas Volcano National Park and not far from the La Paz Waterfalls."

"This was an inexpensive option for our family to stay in Sarapiqui. The property is interesting because of the covered pathways and proximity to two miles of rainforest trails, and we spied frogs, howler monkeys, iguana, caterpillars, etc. Breakfast was wonderful. There is no air conditioning or hot water, which was fine for us. Wet clothes will take a looooong time to hang dry. We are a family of 6, and I thought from photos that we would likely have a room with bunk beds. Instead we were given two rooms, and that worked for us."

"Wow, it’s a great gem. Asked for the upgrade and got it. Room was immaculate. Pool was clean and they are renovating the hot tub/spa area. That will be amazing and like new in a couple of weeks. Food was outstanding also."

The staff are amazing and nothing is too much hassle for them. The entire site was clean and tidy. The cabins are big but really cute. The food in the restaurant was amazing. And even though we were the only people staying here some days they always had a good spread laid out for breakfast or they would cook it fresh to order. We absolutely loved our stay here and can recommend to anyone thinking of booking this place."
