RELAX, RENEW, REJUVENATE!

  • The vision of WaterColors Southern origins, the respect for the existing natural features and the intimate small-town planning is what you will see while vacationing in WaterColor.

    The two-story house is tastefully and comfortably decorated and gives you the sense of being 'at home' the moment you walk through the front door. The two king-bed master suites upstairs each open onto their own large balcony for complete privacy. A third bedroom with a queen bed on the first gives enough sleeping space for the kids or a third couple. Each bedroom has a private bath. While sitting on the front porch you can enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of wine while overlooking a park.
    A short walk to the neighborhood pool or a 15 minute walk to the beach and enough activities for all ages keeps everyone happy. Walk to the town center for dining and entertainment or drive to any one of many world-class restaurants located on Scenic 30-A.
    We provide passes to all pools and Camp Watercolor and the 5-star private beach club. We also provide 4 adult-size bikes and if you have a need for child-size bikes, we work with a company that can provide the appropriate bikes and/or equipment.
    There is a 6 passenger electric cart available at an additional daily rate.
    The house is well supplied for your stay with beach towels, chairs, toys, and just about anything to call our home YOUR home!

We had such a wonderful stay at this summer rental. The home was beautifully maintained, filled with thoughtful touches, and stocked with all the amenities we could have hoped for. Pam was incredibly responsive throughout our visit, making everything feel easy and welcoming. The house itself had a warm, inviting atmosphere that made it feel like a true home away from home. We highly recommend this property and will definitely be returning.

Wonderful family vacation

We had an amazing vacation. The location next to the frog pool made for easy quick trips to the pool for the kiddos. Was a very quiet and relaxing part of the neighborhood. We would very much recommend!

Great location and home

We had a very comfortable and relaxed stay. House was lovely and perfect for two couples w two king size beds upstairs. Having golf cart and bikes was great. Quiet neighborhood , easy access to everything!

Another great stay!

This was our second time at this house. Love the quiet location near the frog pool and Camp Watercolor. It’s great having the bikes but we rented the electric cart this time which was fun especially going to the Beach Club. Communication with Pam was great once again.

One of the best we've stayed at.

We have been staying at Watercolor for years now, and this is one of the best houses we've had. If you want a nice quiet stay at Watercolor/Seaside this is the place. The house is tucked way in the back of the community next to the state park which makes it a great spot at night. We had our kids 12 and 9 with us, and being located so closely to the Frog pool was amazing. Literally steps away. Having access to all of Watercolor's amazing facilities is also a great bonus. The house has a great layout; large kitchen and dining area. The two rooms upstairs are full primaries with great decks to relax on. Great communication with the owners, and the golf cart really comes in handy. Small note, really small note; new seating in the sitting area would be a nice, but you'll hardly notice.

Great family beach house

My family (husband and four kids) stayed here for a week and had a wonderful time. The location is great and the home is well-appointed and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!

Great location and house

Great stay

Great stay in Watercolor. The home was as described, and really liked the location near the frog pool. It was great not to have to bring our own bikes and have the option to rent the golf cart. We walked or biked to Camp Watercolor and biked to beach and beach club. Communication with Pam was very easy. Would stay there again.

Perfect

This house in Watercolor was perfect for our vacation! Nestled on a quiet street, but still close enough to walk to everything. However, we did rent a golf cart and loved it. We went everywhere from Grayton Beach to Seaside to the Hub and never used our rental car. The property owner and the housekeeper were both very helpful with any questions we had before and during our stay. There was two great pools very close by. Camp Watercolor had slides, lazy river, tiki bar and a bunch of other stuff. The Frog Pool was a relaxing place to wind down at the end of the day. Can’t wait to go back to this perfect house for the perfect vacation!

Great location, great stay

We were in Watercolor for Springbreak and loved this house. Would definitely stay here again. It was located in the back of the neighborhood and was nice and quiet....so good to get away from the crowds! It’s a VERY easy bike ride to the beach, shops and restaurants, and not a bad walk either. There is also a pool that is super close. It’s also an easy ride to the grocery store. The house was very clean, the beds were comfortable and the large kitchen was well stocked with any dishes, pots and pans etc. that you may need. It was a perfect setup with our 16 year old son to have 2 masters upstairs - everyone had their own space. Next time we will bring my mom along, the downstairs bedroom and attached bathroom would be perfect for her. 4 adult bikes were provided and Pam even had donuts and milk delivered the first morning :). I think we only had one question while there and she answered promptly. Highly recommend this house!

Sweat, stress and hassle

Was told the morning after check-in that upstairs AC was broken & would be fixed halfway through trip. Later owner told us it broke the week prior. We were not told about it before check-in so we could find another spot. Owner said we would discuss compensation later, which never happened. Upstairs has 2 of 3 bedrooms. Average temperature without air was 78 upstairs, reaching 81. The fan in master stuck on low. Bugs came in because upstairs windows don’t all have screens. On the 4th day, the owner finally sent over 2 fans, after I couldn’t find them at the store. It was 4 miserable, sweaty, sleep-deprived nights. The owner told us to sleep downstairs, but there is nowhere for 5 people to sleep. Our teenager was in the bedroom, & couch doesn’t pull out. Owner, while responsive, repeatedly commented, "it is comfortable outside” down playing the upstairs high temp. I called VRBO, but they weren’t able to find us a location to move to. The modem was broken, so couldn’t work remotely. Didn’t get replaced til mid-trip & we had to wait for the tech to fix it since they don’t have a property manager. The owner offered to let us check out 2 hours late, maybe this equals time lost. I had to followup with the owner about the compensation mentioned previously for the broken AC & modem, and was ignored & refunded part of the cleaning fee. We didn’t get what we paid full price for (a fully functioning property) & the owner conveniently hid the broken amenities before check-in.

We had another wonderful family vacation in Watercolor. Communication with Pam was easy - very prompt and straight forward. We didn’t have any issues with the home or during our stay. This was our first stay in the Lake District, and enjoyed exploring new bike trails with the kids and being so close to Camp Watercolor. We always look for a house with golf cart to make convenient traveling with kids to the beach/club, Camp Watercolor, nearby communities, or Publix runs quick and easy. Looking forward to next years trip! Wouldn’t hesitate to rebook this home. Thank you Pam for opening up your home!Minor feedback - note if dish soap, laundry detergent, paper towels, trash bags are provided so we could stock up on essentials before check-in (we simply zipped the cart to the store and stocked up). Coffee machine was left full of used grinds and coffee (probably from that mornings guests) when we arrived. If I could suggest maybe adding new pillows or bedding, it could have enhanced our comfort. All in all these were very minor and did not detract with our wonderful experience and our stay. Thank you!!
