"When I dreamt of visiting Tuscany, Villa Olivi was what I dreamt of. It was perfect for our friends and us. The views are incredible, and the house was very comfortable and accommodating. As withers have expressed, there is one tight squeeze going up the hill in a car, but otherwise the whole experience was magical."

"Owner Enrico has been really helpfull and friendly. The Villa is on 4 levels (one for the pool, 3 for the building floors) which gives you more privacy but also makes it harder to stay together if that's what your group wants. 1 restroom for each room is a luxury. However, they they would need some renovations, as wel as the kitchen.Great common areas such as outside patio, inner dining room and big sofa areas. Beautiful landscape. Overall very good if you are looking for a rustic retreat in the countryside"

"We had such a great time staying there.The house, a typical rustic Italian house, is well located for daytrips to Florence or Pise, and we really enjoyed the private pool and garden, which was ideal for our family and our kids. They could run freely around the house. The pool is fully fenced which was a big plus too.Andrea is lovely and communication with him was really easy."

"We were awe stricken upon arrival. This home was even better in person. There was one morning when there were low clouds in the valley and we ate on the patio seemingly above the clouds. The views were spectacular. The drive to the home is typical, switchbacks, tight curves and elevation gain. The nights at the main house were cool and comfortable. The pool was always refreshing after our daily adventures. There is a bathroom by the pool for convenience too. The kids enjoyed the ping pong table too! Just a great stay, everything we hoped for. "The villa offered us everything we needed for an extended stay in beautiful Barga. The owners were lovely and provided us with everything we required. The pool area and views from the terrace in particular are stunning. We like to cook and we had pretty much everything we needed to be able to do as we liked. The sleeping areas are fine. Two things to keep in mind. There is no air conditioning so you need to be careful and use the shutters and windows to best effect. The second is the hill leading to the town centre. It takes 15 - 20 mins to walk there, all uphill. This wasn’t an issue for us but might be for some. All in all I would definitely recommend this villa."

"We were made very welcome by Paola, Carlo and Loretta- and they kindly left us a bottle of Chianti and some local honey to welcome us further. The accommodation was much larger and airier than we had anticipated, with full air conditioning throughout. The super king bed on the mezzanine floor was very comfortable . The patio provided a shady place to eat , and a welcome escape from the sun. The pool is absolutely beautiful, set in landscaped gardens, under imposing mountains. It is stunning and absolutely pristine. The facilities are excellent and it is well placed for local restaurants, bars and shopping. We stayed for three weeks. It was perfect! "
