"This was a great hotel as it was clean, good room size, breakfast was fantastic (lots of Japanese and Western options) and the hot baths is a bonus! The only downside was that we had to take the bus to get to most locations (which I learned after visiting Kyoto this is a common thing for everyone since the train system isn't as elaborate as it is in Tokyo so I still gave it 5 stars). Overall, for the price and value of the hotel we would stay here again! "

"Everything was GREAT, however I think that the breakfast offerrings can be improved based on the price charged when compared to other hotel breakfast offerrings and definitly there is a need for more washer/dryer laundry unites ... the 2 combo unites cannot servive that entire hotel....it was like playing hide and seek and catch to be able to wash and dry clothing !"

One of the receptionists made a memorable effort to communicate with us in one of our native languages—a gesture that felt incredibly welcoming and personal. Moments like these transform a good stay into an unforgettable one. While we didn't have breakfast at the property, there's a convenient coffee shop Sizuya-Shichijo nearby offering delicious options for around 800 yen, which worked perfectly for us. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone seeking quality accommodations paired with genuinely thoughtful service."
