"This is a wonderfully secluded cabin with quick access to Bar Harbor and the Hull's Cove Acadia National Park entrance via Crooked Rd. The kitchen and grill are clean and fully servicable for those inclined to cook their own meals. The cabin is equipped with an AC unit that could definitely keep the place chilly on the cooler days. "A spectacular log cabin in a beautiful part of Mount Desert Island. It's a fifteen minute drive to Acadia with none of the crowds. The living, dining, kitchen area is comfy and well appointed. "We enjoyed our stay very much. If it had been warm enough to enjoy all of our meals outside that would have been wonderful. We didn’t plan or pack for any rain but when it poured for a solid day, we were thankful for the cabin’s shelter and wifi and umbrella when we went out. "What a wonderful spot of peace and tranquility! The cabin has absolutely everything we needed and the owners were fantastic to work with. We ate lobster on the deck that we grabbed from a local spot, grilled, paddled around the lake, saw soooo many stars and were still close enough to spend time in Acadia, Schoodic and in Bar Harbor! "This sweet cottage worked very well for us! Seal Harbor was very quiet & away from crowds. Just a short walk down the the quiet Jordan Pond Rd is a lovely carriage trail that takes you through the woods to Jordan Pond! It is a 15 minute drive to busy Bar Harbor and many of the trail heads for some spectacular hiking!"
