The facilities were clean (toilets, showers). Simple to check in and out.
Note that the hostel is on top of the hill. So each time you would have to climb up and down the Monchsberg.
Some areas of improvement or things to take note:
1. Since it’s next to a nature reserve, there are bugs in the room and your bed if you open the windows. Perhaps bring some bug nets to place over the window.
2. The temperature controls were not working and there was no fan in the room. Two of the three nights were quite stuffy and hot, and there was no way to circulate air in the room.
3. Bag lockers are automated, pay 1 euro to lock. Not free.
For reference, I was in Room 10, the only room on the second floor.
