“This is a very unique property. It is a restaurant and music venue on the first floor and rooms on the second floor. The rooms are small but clean, cute, and comfortable. The rooms we stayed in had a wonderful view of the creek/river. I also want to acknowledge the staff...they were very responsive and kind. The town of Wilmington is fantastic - great restaurants, shops, architecture, etc.”

“We liked the fact that it was very quiet, perfectly described, had an amazing view and was beyond peaceful. The gardens and landscape made the setting even better. Wished we were in the area longer so we could’ve stayed longer. Would definitely book this suite again. ”

“My daughter and I brought our 2 beloved Beagles for their first lengthy car ride and holiday to Pat’s lovely rescue haven. As our little guys are also rescues, we are endeavoring to give them the best life ever….experiencing Cavalier Cottage allowed us to do just that. Many thanks to Pat and all her very loved rescues for sharing this slice of Heaven with us. We will be back.”

"We arrive 01:30 am driving from a late flight from Boston and requested late checkout not for me for my 2 little kids and a baby and they are so tired that was expecting to have late checkout next morning but they said no because they were sold out next day, come on could not make an exception for my family? "
